Heaven in Orba (UK)
Had the most amazing stay in the lovely village of Orba. The highlight of the stay was the Hotel Mardenit, the food was first class and different every day. The accommodation was modern, luxurious and the rooftop terrace with sun beds and jacuzzi with views to die for! "Highly recommended. A charming town house with lovely views which has been stylishly modernised inside, located in a pretty town. Breakfasts were delightful introductions to some local delicacies, and the friendly host helped us to find very special places to eat; a favourite was within walking distance. Great location amongst orange, lemon, almond, olive and cherry groves, and surrounded by mountains (great for walking), yet still close to the coast." _ Julia, Poole

"I visited Orba in September with my brother and our wives to see my cousin who lives there. We were not sure what to expect but the Hotel beat our expectations. It is ideally situated in the centre of the town. There are only 5 rooms but they are modern, comfortable and clean. The property has recently been turned into a hotel and refurbished to a high standard. Ruben, the owner, was very professional and friendly. He served our continental breakfasts, which were lovely, and was proud of his use of fresh local produce. There is a rooftop terrace with a hot tub and an honesty bar which is a nice touch. I would strongly recommend Mardenit to any visitors to Orba or the surrounding area and hope to return soon." _ Peter

Confort and Style in Orba (UK)
"This is a very stylish option and I think way ahead of the field in Orba! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable - with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the mountains. The best thing though was the caring and warm welcome from the host and his assistant, Magda. There was lots of help and advice about eating out options. In the morning, I couldn't stay for breakfast as I had a plane to catch - so Magda made sure I had access to coffee and fruit before leaving." _ bib28
