This experience has been designed in honor to the discoverers of great gastronomy and enology. It takes you through the kitchen of Evarist, winner of the XIII Championship of Spanish Cooks, whose recently opened restaurant is located on a natural balcony (at 400 MASL), which offers a panoramic view of the entire Marina Alta, one in which Evarist calls “La Toscana Alacantina”. From there, this experience will have you tasting some of the most reputed wines of Spain, from Felipe’s Winery (Bodega de Felipe), a winemaker with an unparalleled profession and an international career. In 2018, Felipe received a 99 Peñin for his wine “Recóndita Armonia”, the highest score awarded by the prestigious wine guide.

This experience is a journey of the senses to the origins of the Marina Alta. We will start with a thematic route with a private guide through the "Cavall verd", a mountain that is just in front of our hotel, rising to 800m above sea level, complimented with views of Ibiza. It takes its name from a prophecy that a green horse would come to the rescue of more than 17,000 resisting Moors, before the end of their final expulsion, just four centuries ago. The end of the tour concludes with a lovely picnic with typical organic products from La Marina. The following day you will enjoy a typical Arabic breakfast served on your terrace, followed later by an exquisite Cous-Cous lunch, a special experience on the cultural-gastronomic tour, all at Mardenit. For a goodbye you deserve, we will prepare a tote bag for you with a bottle of Casta Diva Cosecha Miel 2013, a naturally sweet wine from the Moscatel vineyards of the Marina Alta, and known as one of the best valued wines in Spain by the guides Peñin and Parker, by the hand of the well-known and awarded Bodega de Gutierrez de la Vega.
